Women's Basketball League Unrivaled Raises Over $100 Million in Funding
Preparing for its third season, women's basketball league Unrivaled has secured over $100 million in a Series C funding round. The investment values the league at $650 million.

Unrivaled, a professional three-on-three women's basketball league, has completed a Series C funding round that brought in over $100 million, valuing the organization at $650 million. This valuation nearly doubles its worth from the fall of 2025.
The funding round was led by the University of California-backed Ten Pillar Sports Fund, with notable investors including NBA star Carmelo Anthony, soccer player Alex Morgan and her Trybe Ventures, actor Ashton Kutcher, and Washington Wizards guard Trae Young.
The league's model, which offers players equity stakes, is cited as a key driver for the investment. Founded in 2025 by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, Unrivaled provides an alternative for players who would otherwise spend their offseasons competing internationally. It offers competitive salaries and allows athletes to remain in the league's Miami hub.
Unrivaled's second season, which ran from January to March 2026, generated $45 million in revenue and saw significant growth in social media engagement and ticket sales. The player equity pool has grown substantially, now valued at nearly $200 million.
The third season is set to kick off in January 2027 and will expand its reach to multiple cities nationwide. Broadcast rights for the season have been secured by TNT, truTV, and HBO Max.
