Woojer Partners with Texas Logistic Firm for Nationwide Distribution
Woojer, a company specializing in haptic audio technology, has entered into a strategic partnership with Texas Logistic & Fulfillment Services. The agreement covers quality control, software updates, and nationwide distribution.
Woojer, a developer of haptic audio technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Texas Logistic & Fulfillment Services (TLFS). Under the agreement, TLFS will manage quality control (QC), software updates, storage, and nationwide distribution of Woojer's products to major retailers, including Best Buy, Costco, and Sam’s Club.
The operations will be based out of Sugar Land, Texas, in a facility formerly occupied by Amazon as a distribution center. This location has been converted into a logistics hub designed for large-scale fulfillment and testing of electronics. Woojer CEO Kfir Bar Levav highlighted the need for precise and rapid QC to meet the demanding standards of their retail partners.
TLFS has implemented dozens of computer-equipped QC stations to meet Woojer's product testing requirements. The company has also partnered with the YMCA of Greater Houston to hire refugees and newcomers, contributing to workforce diversity. Dimitri Menin, President of TLFS, noted that the team comprises employees from 18 different countries.
The logistics facility utilizes a 3PL Central Warehouse Management System (WMS) for real-time tracking and visibility throughout the supply chain. It also features climate-controlled environments and rapid turnaround times, working with carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
