World AI Conference Expands in Shanghai in July with Record Scale

The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) and the High-Level Conference on Global AI Governance will commence in Shanghai on July 17. The event, running until July 20, is expanding its exhibition scale to a record 100,000 square meters across four venues in the city.
The conference will host the global premiere of over 300 new AI products, with more than a thousand participating companies showcasing over 3,000 cutting-edge exhibits. Additionally, WAIC will feature more than 140 forums, convening over 1,400 industry experts and international speakers.
A new academic track has been introduced this year, featuring a high-level international AI conference. This academic segment, led by Turing Award winners and members of national academies from various countries, aims to establish a premier platform for AI research and discussion.
This year's conference will focus on key areas such as AI computing and embodied AI. Numerous companies, including industry leaders and international firms, are expected to present their latest advancements and practical applications in these and other AI domains.
