The company currently has over 40 hotels in development across new markets, including Vietnam, South Korea, and Portugal, building on the addition of approximately 100 hotels in 2025. This expansion is being driven by increasing demand in the premium travel sector, with market projections estimating growth from $1.6 trillion in 2025 to $3 trillion by 2033.
The brand aims to attract independent hotel owners by offering commercial resources and expertise while allowing properties to retain their unique character and authenticity. The expansion strategy includes developing branded residences, immersive outdoor hospitality, and wellness retreats in sought-after global destinations.
Notable new developments include Essensia Sky and Parkway Saigon in Vietnam, WorldHotels' first branded residences project. Other new properties are set to open in Phu Quoc, Vietnam; Guadalajara, Mexico; Jeju Island, South Korea; near Manesar, India; and Jaco, Costa Rica. These additions signify WorldHotels' entry into new geographic regions and strengthen its presence in the global luxury hospitality market.
