WPRC organized blogger event for European legumes

WPR Communication GmbH organized an event in February 2026 at the Oma Lore Foodstudio in Cologne for its client UFOP. Under the motto "Hülsenfrüchte Reloaded. Ein Abendessen bei Oma Lore." (Legumes Reloaded. A Dinner at Oma Lore's.), 14 creators gathered to rediscover the EU-funded campaign "DIE VIER VON HIER!" (The Four From Here!).

The evening focused on modern interpretations of fava beans, sweet lupins, field peas, and soybeans. The duo "Die Jungs kochen und backen" (The Boys Cook and Bake) impressively demonstrated how versatile and contemporary legumes can be used today, presenting a custom menu that blended classic cuisine with current food trends.

WPRC conceptualized and executed the event, creating an inspiring setting for exchange, enjoyment, and new perspectives on European protein crops. The event aimed to increase awareness and encourage the use of these local ingredients.

This event is part of a broader initiative to promote European protein crops and their culinary potential. WPRC's role was to create a platform for dialogue and experience centered around these legumes.
