WuXi Biologics wins ESG reporting and environmental awards
Contract research and manufacturing firm WuXi Biologics has received two top honors at the ninth annual Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards.

WuXi Biologics has secured two Grand Awards at the 2026 Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA). The company was recognized for excellence in ESG reporting within the large-cap category and for its environmental positive impact.
Selected from a pool of 120 entrants, WuXi Biologics was the only pharmaceutical firm to receive a Grand Award this year. The accolades recognize the company's efforts to maintain transparent sustainability disclosures and implement measurable environmental improvements across its global operations.
CEO Dr. Chris Chen stated that the awards reinforce the company's belief that transparent reporting and environmental performance are essential for long-term business resilience. The firm recently had its greenhouse gas reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming alignment with a 1.5°C climate pathway.
Moving forward, WuXi Biologics continues to implement its "Green CRDMO" strategy, which embeds sustainability principles into the research, development, and manufacturing of biologics. The company was also recently named to the 2026 Forbes China ESG 50 list.
