Wyze Moves New Smart Scale Screen to Handle for Eye-Level Reading
Wyze has introduced the Ultra BodyScan Plus, a redesigned smart scale featuring a 4.3-inch color screen moved to its retractable handle for easier eye-level viewing of health metrics.
Wyze has launched the Ultra BodyScan Plus, a new iteration of its smart scale designed to provide a more convenient reading experience. The key change in this model is the relocation of the 4.3-inch customizable color screen from the scale's surface to the retractable handle.
This adjustment ensures that all health metric breakdowns, including body composition analysis, are displayed closer to eye level for the user. The scale utilizes additional electrodes embedded in the handle to gather comprehensive data from the arms, legs, and torso.
The scale features a conductive indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass surface. This design allows it to take bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) measurements regardless of foot placement, ensuring consistent data capture.
The Wyze Scale Ultra BodyScan Plus is available starting today for $149. It can be purchased in black or white through Wyze's online store, marking an approximate $30 price increase compared to the previous Ultra BodyScan model.
