Social media platform X has updated its iOS application to include over ten new custom app icons, exclusively for X Premium subscribers.
X has expanded its customization options for iPhone and iPad users by adding more than ten new app icon designs to its mobile application. The update allows users to change the standard app icon displayed on their device's home screen.
Access to these new icons remains restricted to users with an active X Premium subscription. This feature, which dates back to the platform's era as Twitter, is part of the recurring benefits offered to paid members. The customization options were initially designed to provide users with aesthetic choices to match their personal device preferences.
Users can access the updated gallery through the 'Settings' menu under the subscription section. While the update is currently available on iOS, the company has not yet confirmed whether similar icon choices will be extended to Android devices.
