Xbox app coming to TCL TVs

Microsoft is partnering with TCL to bring its Xbox app to supported TCL smart TVs in the coming months. This integration will allow users to stream Xbox Cloud Gaming titles directly from their televisions without needing a separate console.

The arrival of the Xbox app coincides with Microsoft's new "pay-as-you-go" option for Xbox Cloud Gaming, set to launch in November. This new pricing model enables access to the cloud gaming service without a mandatory Xbox Game Pass subscription, potentially broadening its appeal to users who do not own an Xbox console.

Microsoft has also been exploring free, ad-supported cloud gaming options for Xbox Insiders, with broader rollout possibilities. The expansion to TCL TVs is part of Microsoft's ongoing effort to make its gaming services more accessible across various devices and platforms.
