Xer Technologies Integrates UMAG Magnetic Detection Payloads on X8 PRO Multicopter

Xer Technologies AG (Xer Tech Holding AB) has successfully integrated UMAG’s V2Mag® and FastMag® magnetic detection payloads with its X8 PRO extended-endurance hybrid-electric multicopter. The integration significantly expands the platform’s capabilities for advanced airborne sensing missions.

Both payloads are purpose-built for drone operations. They enable the precise airborne detection of magnetic anomalies associated with unexploded ordnance (UXO), as well as hidden land and naval mines.

Equipped with UMAG’s FastMag® payload, the X8 PRO can also be deployed to support anti-submarine warfare (ASW) operations. Xer Technologies has not provided further details on the technical specifications of the integration or its specific applications.
