Swedish company Xer Technologies announced that its subsidiary, Xer Technologies AG, has entered into an agreement with a company within a Hungarian energy group that operates electricity distribution networks. The contract grants a license for cloud-based data analysis software designed for inspecting power line infrastructure.

The agreement is set for a minimum of two years and has a total value of EUR 119,550 over that period. The software will be utilized to analyze inspection data collected from two X8 drones, delivered by Xer, which are equipped with an EO/IR camera, lidar, and a corona camera.

The implementation of this software is expected to enhance the energy company's ability to maintain its power lines efficiently and identify potential issues proactively. This deal represents a strategic step for Xer Technologies in expanding the application of its artificial intelligence solutions within the energy sector.

This contract solidifies Xer Technologies' presence in the energy infrastructure inspection market and provides a stable revenue stream. The company anticipates that this agreement will open doors for further business opportunities in the European market.
