Xiaodu has released its Fit AI smartwatch, a device powered by Baidu's Ernie large language model. Initially priced at 198 yuan, the watch has seen its retail cost decline to 159.80 yuan following the application of state-backed subsidies. During the current 'Double 11' shopping festival, the price has further decreased to approximately 138 yuan.
This price reduction is achieved by stacking multiple promotional offers. Consumers can utilize official store discounts, platform coupons, loyalty currency, and a 15 percent government subsidy accessible via the retailer's mobile application.
As the wearable technology market becomes increasingly competitive, Xiaodu is positioning the Fit model as an entry-level device with integrated generative AI capabilities.
