Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable phone repair parts prices released

Xiaomi has disclosed the repair parts prices for its 18 Fold foldable smartphone in China. The company states that replacing the internal screen will cost a minimum of 3600 yuan (approximately $495 USD), while motherboard replacements start at 3900 yuan (approximately $537 USD). This compares to the device's starting retail price of 10,999 yuan (approximately $1515 USD).

The cost for the internal screen varies by model. Standard color variants have an internal screen price of 3600 yuan, while the 1TB ceramic special edition's internal screen is priced at 3800 yuan. Motherboard prices differ based on RAM and storage configurations, ranging from 3900 yuan up to 5930 yuan (approximately $817 USD) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model.

Prices for other components have also been released. For instance, a battery replacement costs 259 yuan, and a charger is 100 yuan. The back cover for standard color options is 250 yuan, but the ceramic special edition's back cover is significantly more expensive at 1045 yuan.

It is important to note that these prices reflect material costs for the parts only. Actual repair services will incur additional labor charges. Mail-in repairs will also include separate logistics fees.
