Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun Announces Live Broadcast on Vehicle Launch Progress

Xiaomi founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun announced on September 20th that he will host a live broadcast the following evening. The broadcast will focus on the progress and reflections from the two weeks since the launch of the company's new vehicle line, Xiaomi Pengcheng. Jun stated that the public's response has far exceeded expectations.

The live event, scheduled for 7 PM on September 21st, will take place at a campsite, where Jun plans to personally set up a tent. The Xiaomi Pengcheng series, launched on September 7th, includes several models. Pricing starts at 209,900 yuan (approximately $29,000 USD) for the N70 Pro, with the N90 Max Explorer Edition priced at 299,900 yuan (approximately $41,000 USD).

Following the launch, Jun was present at the first vehicle delivery event in Xuzhou on September 12th. During the event, he personally opened car doors and handed over keys to initial customers, an action that drew media attention and highlighted the company's customer engagement efforts.
