Xiaomi discounts air purifier model as retail prices hit new low
Xiaomi's Mijia Ultra air purifier is now available at a significant discount following the application of retail promotions and government subsidies.
The price of the Xiaomi Mijia Ultra air purifier has dropped to approximately 2,041 yuan on the JD.com platform during the 11.11 shopping event. The final cost to consumers reflects a combination of store coupons, membership discounts, trade-in incentives, and government-backed subsidies for home appliances.
Launched in 2022, the device features a solid-state formaldehyde sensor capable of detecting concentrations as low as 0.001 mg/m³. The technology, developed with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, utilizes a catalytic process to break down formaldehyde into water and carbon dioxide, aiming to eliminate the need for frequent filter replacements.
To address maintenance, the unit employs UV light and plasma ionization within the filter chamber to inhibit the growth of bacteria and viruses. The device holds an allergy-care certification from TÜV Rheinland and is rated for a two-year filter lifespan under standard operating conditions.
