Chinese tech company Xiaomi has extended its August service promotion from a week to a full month. The "Service Month" campaign offers discounted battery replacements for over 100 device models.
Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has expanded its August service event into a month-long campaign, replacing its previous week-long promotion. The "Service Month" initiative offers reduced prices on various services, including battery replacements for over one hundred different device models.
During the campaign, customers can obtain battery replacements for their smartphones starting at 47.2 Chinese yuan (approximately $6.50 USD). Additionally, four categories of "worry-free" services, which may cover screen repairs or other common maintenance tasks, are available at a 50% discount. The promotions are valid from August 1st through August 31st.
Xiaomi has published an extensive list of supported devices on its website, encompassing numerous smartphone and tablet models. The company also reminds customers about proper battery maintenance. Factors such as overuse, excessive charging, extreme temperatures, or physical impacts can lead to degraded battery performance. The guidelines emphasize scientific charging practices and protection from extreme temperatures to maximize battery lifespan.
