Xiaomi HyperOS 4 Adds Floating Nav Bar, Redmi K100 Series to Receive Official Update
The app store for Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 operating system now features a new floating bottom navigation bar. The Redmi K100 series of phones is set to receive the first official version of this system update soon.
Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 operating system has introduced a new floating bottom navigation bar within its app store, alongside a redesigned search bar that aligns with the system's overall style.
Redmi product manager Hu XinXin confirmed the upcoming update for the Redmi K100 series. While an exact release date was not provided, the rollout of the official HyperOS 4 version to these devices is imminent.
Speculation suggests that the mention of the "Redmi K100 series" by Hu XinXin may indicate the impending launch of a standard Redmi K100 model, potentially alongside the previously unveiled gaming flagship, to complete the series.
Xiaomi began beta testing HyperOS 4 in August. The official release was initially slated to commence on October 15th, with early adopters including the Xiaomi 17 series and the Redmi K100 Pro series. The company plans to gradually expand the update to more existing devices.
