Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has announced the commencement of its 2027 global campus recruitment program. The initiative targets domestic and international graduates expected to complete their studies between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027. The application deadline is set for December 31.

The company highlighted a significant increase in demand for artificial intelligence (AI) related roles, with a reported 50% growth compared to previous recruitment cycles. Promotional materials showcased Xiaomi's AI product developments, including Xiaomi MiMo, Xiaomi miclaw, Xiaomi-Robotics-1, and Xiaomi CyberOne.

Out of 17 job categories available, 70% are dedicated to product and research development roles. These encompass software and hardware engineering, algorithms, chip design, product management, design, marketing, and supply chain positions. Openings are available in multiple Chinese cities as well as international locations, including Munich.

Xiaomi is substantially increasing its focus on AI. In March, CEO Lei Jun stated the company's intention to invest 60 billion yuan (approximately $8.3 billion USD) in AI over the next three years. He also noted that the core team behind the MiMo model has an average age of 25, with over 60% graduating from top Chinese universities, underscoring the company's long-term commitment to AI development.
