Xiaomi Launches Mi Smart Flip Tumbler 2 Via Crowdfunding

Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign for its new Mi Smart Flip Tumbler 2 on the company's Youpin e-commerce platform. The campaign began on September 2nd and will run until September 9th. The tumbler is offered in four color options: white, dark blue, mist purple, and glacier blue.

The Mi Smart Flip Tumbler 2 features an automatic locking lid designed for one-handed operation. The lid slides or presses open and locks automatically when closed, preventing accidental spills. The drinking spout and filter are made from PPSU material, known for its heat resistance and ability to prevent odor retention, and the spout is detachable for easy cleaning.

The tumbler utilizes a vacuum insulation process between its inner and outer layers, enhanced by a copper plating process to improve vacuum purity. This design allows users to hold the tumbler comfortably even with hot beverages. The company states the tumbler can maintain temperatures, keeping liquids at or above 68°C for hot drinks and at or below 10°C for cold drinks for up to six hours.

Internally, the tumbler is constructed from 316L stainless steel with a polished surface achieved through a thin-wall spinning and mirror electrolysis process. This construction aims for reduced weight and easy cleaning. The crowdfunding price for the Mi Smart Flip Tumbler 2 is set at 79 yuan.
