Xiaomi has begun pre-sales for its new Mijia Smart Bath P1, an intelligent bathroom fan equipped with motion-sensing technology. The product is available for 1099.05 yuan after the application of government subsidies, with shipments scheduled to commence on August 4.
The unit features a 24 GHz radar system that enables multiple motion-sensing interactions, including automatic lighting, ventilation, and shutdown. Users can adjust the sensitivity and detection range to suit different bathroom layouts. The device also supports Xiaomi's 'Pangolin' smart home connectivity.
This bathroom fan unit incorporates a fully embedded lifting light board, providing 1500 lumens of high-brightness, eye-friendly soft light. It is powered by a brushless DC dual-core motor, supporting 3000W heating power and 98% efficient sterilization. Additionally, it includes a VOC sensor for air purification, with an air exchange rate of up to 259 cubic meters per hour.
The government subsidies are part of an ongoing initiative to boost consumer spending on electronics and home appliances in China. Xiaomi is a prominent player in the consumer electronics market, and its Mijia sub-brand offers a wide array of smart home devices.
