Xiaomi launches new electric shaver at crowdfunding price
Xiaomi has introduced the Mi Home Electric Shaver S101, set to launch via crowdfunding at 105 yuan. The device features a redesigned blade system and extended battery life.
Xiaomi has released its new Mi Home Electric Shaver S101, with the product slated to begin crowdfunding on September 21st via the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The shaver will be available at an introductory price of 105 yuan (approximately $15 USD) during the crowdfunding period.
The S101 model features a dual-ring patterned blade net manufactured using MIM (Metal Injection Molding) technology. Xiaomi states this design increases the beard intake area and improves cutting efficiency compared to previous models, aiming for a closer shave with less irritation and stubble.
The shaver is equipped with a three-head independent floating system designed to adapt to facial contours in six directions. It is also IPX7 waterproof, allowing for easy cleaning under running water, with a detachable cutter head.
Additionally, the Mi Home Electric Shaver S101 incorporates intelligent speed control to maintain consistent power even at low battery levels, preventing snagging. It charges via a USB-C port and takes approximately 1.5 hours for a full charge. Xiaomi claims a single charge can last up to 60 days with daily use of one minute.
