Xiaomi Launches Watch S5 41mm Smartwatch
Xiaomi has introduced its new Watch S5 41mm smartwatch, emphasizing a compact design and advanced health features. The device runs on the new HyperOS 4 operating system.
Xiaomi unveiled its new Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm smartwatch in late September as part of its latest product launch event in China. This model is designed for users seeking a smaller and lighter wearable.
The Watch S5 41mm features a 41mm case and weighs only 36 grams, making it comfortable for extended wear. It is available with a fluoro-rubber strap for 1299 yuan (approximately $180 USD) or a leather strap for 1499 yuan (approximately $205 USD). Color options include ceramic white, sea salt blue, and mint green.
Running on Xiaomi's new HyperOS 4, the smartwatch includes an updated WeChat application. Health features are enhanced with menstrual cycle tracking for women using three wrist temperature sensors, exercise intensity recommendations based on body cycles, calorie management for diet, and UV index monitoring.
Furthermore, the Watch S5 41mm offers improved integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem, including connectivity with Xiaomi cars and the ability to view smart lock camera feeds. The manufacturer claims a battery life of up to 14 days on a single charge. The Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm combines smart functionalities and health tracking in a compact and elegant form factor.
