Chinese technology company Xiaomi has started pre-sales for its new Mi Home Smart Italian Semi-Automatic Coffee Machine Pro. The product is aimed at households looking to prepare espresso-based coffee beverages.
The machine integrates multiple functions, including coffee bean grinding, espresso extraction, and milk frothing. The device supports precise powder weighing with an accuracy of 0.1g, eliminating the need for a separate scale. It also features an integrated dual pump and heating system, enabling simultaneous coffee extraction and milk frothing.
Control is managed via a TFT color screen and a rotating knob. It can connect to the Xiaomi Home app, providing access to hundreds of preset recipes and settings. The app also guides users through the device's initial setup and offers analyses of the coffee extraction process, providing suggestions for improvement.
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Italian Semi-Automatic Coffee Machine Pro is manufactured by Ningbo Kunlin Technology Co., Ltd. The pre-sale price, after government subsidies, is approximately 3395.84 yuan (around $470 USD), compared to the official retail price of 4999 yuan.
