Xiaomi Opens澎湃 OS 4 Beta Recruitment for Additional Devices

Xiaomi has officially opened recruitment for the second batch of devices eligible for its澎湃 OS 4 Beta program. Users with qualifying Xiaomi phones and tablets can sign up for the internal testing phase via the Xiaomi Community platform.

The expanded beta program now includes a range of new models. Among the smartphones are several devices from the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series, such as the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, 15S Pro, 15 Ultra, and its dual-satellite version. The Xiaomi 17 Max, 17T Pro, and 17T are also included, alongside the REDMI K90 Max and REDMI K90至尊版. On the tablet side, the REDMI K Pad 2 has been added to the list of test devices.

Participants are advised to ensure their device is updated to the latest version of澎湃 OS 3 and that the account used for recruitment matches the one logged into the device. Xiaomi acknowledges that initial increased battery consumption or device heating after the update is normal as the system optimizes in the background, and these issues typically resolve within one to three days.

Users encountering system issues are encouraged to submit bug reports with log data and, if possible, video or image evidence through the "Service & Feedback" app or the dedicated "Xiaomi Community - Beta" section. This feedback is crucial for the development team to identify and address issues before the official release.
