Xiaomi patents vehicle logo switching system

Xiaomi Automobile Technology has secured a Chinese utility model patent for a vehicle system designed to raise and switch between two distinct logos. The patent, CN224617606U, was granted on August 11.

The described mechanism utilizes a mounting frame, a movable block, and a drive system to guide the block along a path with both straight and curved sections. According to the patent filing, existing lifting-logo designs can suffer from complexity and weight, potentially impacting a vehicle's driving range.

Xiaomi has not indicated whether this system is intended for deployment in a production vehicle. The patent suggests continued development in the company's automotive technology pursuits.
