Key technical specifications for the forthcoming Xiaomi Redmi K100 Pro Max smartphone have emerged online ahead of its official launch. The device is reportedly powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with a dedicated D2 graphics chip.
The phone is expected to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 185Hz. Peak local brightness for the screen is cited at 4500 nits. It will house a substantial 9070mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Further details suggest the smartphone will sport a flat display with a metal frame and a large, horizontal matrix camera module on the rear. The camera system is likely to include a periscope telephoto lens. Audio is expected to be enhanced by independent speakers tuned by Bose.
Xiaomi previously announced that the Redmi K100 Pro Max is scheduled for release in China on August 11. The exterior design, including color options like 'Cabernet Red' and 'Flowing Gold', has already been revealed. The device will feature ultra-narrow bezels, a metal frame, and a new suspension light ring design that pulses with music.
