Xiaomi releases embodied AI foundation model Xiaomi-Robotics-1 as open source

Chinese technology company Xiaomi has released its embodied AI foundation model, Xiaomi-Robotics-1, as open source. The company's technology account announced the release on August 5.
The model supports the entire process from post-training on real robots to the deployment of the model. The release includes code for related benchmark evaluations. Xiaomi originally introduced the model in July as an "out-of-the-box" embodied AI foundation model.
Xiaomi-Robotics-1 was pretrained on over 100,000 hours of UMI data and post-trained on more than 10,000 hours of cross-embodiment data. The open-source release provides links to the project's website, GitHub repository, and Hugging Face page.
