Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has begun sales of its Mi Home Sonic Electric Toothbrush T302 'Dampened Edition'. The device, priced at an introductory 139 yuan (approximately $19 USD), aims to enhance user comfort through reduced vibrations and improved functionality.
The toothbrush is equipped with a low-noise brushless motor that directly powers the brush head. Xiaomi states that the vibration frequency has been optimized to decrease handle shake, leading to a more pleasant brushing experience. The unit also boasts an IPX8 rating, indicating its high level of water resistance.
Four distinct cleaning modes are available on the T302 Dampened Edition. These include a standard mode for daily use, a sensitive mode for beginners and those with sensitive gums, a gum massage mode that alternates oscillation patterns for cleaning and care, and a whitening mode designed to remove surface stains using high-frequency movements.
Xiaomi claims the toothbrush can last up to 150 days on a single charge when using the sensitive mode. It also incorporates a 2-minute emergency quick charge feature. The product is offered in two color options.
