Xiaomi Releases Mi Smart Dual Control Clothes Dryer 2
Xiaomi has launched the Mi Smart Dual Control Clothes Dryer 2, featuring a 49.8-inch large light panel and a 7cm ultra-thin body. The product is available for crowdfunding at 1399 yuan.
Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has introduced the Mi Smart Dual Control Clothes Dryer 2. The product became available on the Xiaomi Youpin platform on September 21, launching with a crowdfunding price of 1399 yuan (approximately $192 USD).
The new clothes dryer is equipped with a 49.8-inch borderless large light panel. This panel provides 50W of lighting power and 3000lm of luminous flux. Its design allows the drying rods to be fully concealed behind the light panel when not in use, breaking away from traditional clothes dryer aesthetics.
The dryer features an extendable drying area, increasing hanging capacity by approximately 73.6%. It supports a load capacity of 40 kg, a 14.3% increase compared to the previous generation. The unit's body is ultra-thin at 7cm.
Utilizing dual-motor drive technology, the appliance features two independently controlled rods. This allows for layered drying of clothes with a 114cm large spacing between rods to enhance ventilation.
The Mi Smart Dual Control Clothes Dryer 2 integrates into Xiaomi's smart ecosystem, enabling linkage with other Mi Home devices. Users can adjust brightness and color temperature via the Mi Home app. The dryer can also automatically lower its rods upon completion of a laundry cycle and participate in various smart home automation scenarios.
