Xiaomi Releases New Smart Bathroom Heater with Motion Sensing
Chinese technology company Xiaomi has launched the Mi Jia Smart Bathroom Heater P1, featuring a 24GHz radar for intelligent motion detection. The device aims to enhance bathroom comfort and air quality.
Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has introduced a new addition to its smart home ecosystem: the Mi Jia Smart Bathroom Heater P1, which incorporates intelligent motion sensing capabilities.
The device is equipped with a 24GHz high-precision radar sensor that enables several automated functions. These include motion-activated lighting, ventilation, and automatic shut-off. The sensitivity and detection range of the sensors can be adjusted to suit different user preferences and bathroom layouts. The heater also supports Xiaomi's Pengpai Zhilian smart home connectivity.
Key features of the heater include a fully recessed, liftable light panel that provides 1500lm of bright, eye-friendly soft light. It boasts a powerful 3000W heating capacity for rapid temperature increase. The unit also offers 98% efficiency in eliminating bacteria and includes a VOC sensor for air purification, with a ventilation capacity of up to 259 cubic meters per hour.
The Mi Jia Smart Bathroom Heater P1 is set to be available through crowdfunding at a price of 999 yuan (approximately $140 USD). This launch reflects Xiaomi's ongoing strategy to integrate smart, convenient features into everyday home appliances.
