Xiaomi Reveals First Service Costs and Warranty Details
Xiaomi has provided details on the initial maintenance costs and warranty periods for its new vehicles. The first service for the N70 Max and N90 Max models is priced at approximately 1414 yuan.

Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has released further information regarding the maintenance costs and warranty terms for its new automotive offerings.
The company announced that the first scheduled service for the Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle will cost approximately 1414 yuan (around $195 USD) for the N70 Max and N90 Max models. The N90 Max Explorer variant, which features a retractable roof, will incur a slightly higher cost of about 1444 yuan (around $199 USD) for its initial service, attributed to an added safety inspection of the retractable roof mechanism.
These maintenance schedules are designed to cover comprehensive care for the vehicle. The electric system's upkeep includes checks on the air conditioning, core electrical components, battery thermal management, chassis systems like brakes and suspension, and overall electronic and safety features. These services are recommended annually or every 20,000 kilometers.
For models equipped with the range extender, additional servicing is required for the internal combustion generator. This includes replacement of engine oil and filters, air filters, spark plugs, and coolant. These components typically require attention every three years or 30,000 kilometers, with spark plugs needing replacement every 40,000 kilometers and coolant every six years or 120,000 kilometers.
The retractable roof fabric on the N90 Max Explorer is specified as water-repellent and dirt-resistant. Xiaomi advises against self-disassembly or cleaning of this component. The retractable roof is covered under the vehicle's standard warranty, which extends for five years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
