Xiaomi SkyNomad EV Range Secures Over 70,000 Orders in First Month

Xiaomi announced on October 8 that its SkyNomad range-extended electric SUV lineup garnered over 70,000 locked-in orders in its initial 30 days of sales. The figure, recorded between September 7 and October 7, follows the lineup's launch and the commencement of deliveries.

Deliveries for the SkyNomad range exceeded 10,000 vehicles in September. This contributed to Xiaomi Auto's overall delivery count of more than 40,000 vehicles for the month. The lineup includes the N70 Pro, N70 Max, N90 Max, and N90 Max Studio Edition, with launch prices starting at RMB 209,900.

The introduction of the SkyNomad series expands Xiaomi's vehicle offerings beyond its existing battery-electric SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV. This move signals the company's intent to capture a larger share of the rapidly growing electric vehicle market in China.

Industry analysts are closely monitoring the performance of the SkyNomad models as Xiaomi Auto competes with established players like BYD and Tesla. The sustained order volume will be a key indicator of the brand's acceptance and potential for future growth in the competitive EV sector.
