Xiaomi has released its Smart Clock 3 Pro, a device that monitors indoor temperature, humidity, and now, carbon dioxide levels. The gadget is available for purchase in China.
Xiaomi has launched its Smart Clock 3 Pro, an advanced environmental sensor for indoor use, in China. The device is now available on e-commerce platforms like JD.com for 129 yuan (approximately $18), a slight increase from its initial crowdfunding price.
The Smart Clock 3 Pro measures key indoor air quality indicators: temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration. It features a new-generation, low-power CO2 sensor from Sensirion, ensuring continuous monitoring. All data, including date, day of the week, time, temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels, is clearly displayed on the device's 3.6-inch LCD screen.
Designed for integration into the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem, the Smart Clock 3 Pro can connect with other Mi Home-compatible devices. This allows for automated actions, such as adjusting air purifiers or air conditioners based on detected CO2 levels. Users can also access historical data and trends via the Mi Home app.
The device features a magnetic design for easy attachment to metal surfaces and includes an adhesive metal ring for wall mounting. Its low-power consumption allows for approximately one year of operation on a single CR2450 battery. This product expands Xiaomi's smart home offerings aimed at enhancing living comfort and indoor air quality.
