Xiaomi to launch 18 Pro smartphone series in international markets this November
Xiaomi has confirmed the global expansion of its 18 Pro smartphone series, with international availability scheduled to begin this month. The device originally launched in China in late September.
Xiaomi President Lu Weibing announced that the 18 Pro series is moving into international markets throughout November. This follows the device's initial release in China on September 23, where it debuted with a starting price of 5,999 yuan.
The series features the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform and a high-resolution camera system, including a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 200-megapixel telephoto lens. The devices are positioned as high-end hardware within the manufacturer's current product cycle.
Retail pricing leaks from Europe suggest the global models will start at approximately 1,549 euros. The international release is expected to include exclusive color options, such as a burgundy variant not featured in the domestic Chinese launch.
