Xiaomi has revealed the full exterior design of its upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold. The device is introduced as a new "mid-fold" form factor, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional large foldables and smaller flip-style phones.
Xiaomi has showcased the complete exterior design of its forthcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold smartphone. The company described the new form factor as a "mid-fold," intended to position the device between larger, book-style foldables and more compact flip phones.
The Xiaomi 18 Fold features a 5.38-inch outer display and a 7.58-inch inner foldable screen. The rear camera module is horizontally oriented on the device's back panel. This design aims to offer a balance for users seeking a larger display without the bulk of some current foldable models.
The phone is scheduled for release on September 7. It will be powered by Xiaomi's Xring O3 processor and run on HyperOS 4. The device will also include an on-device MiMo AI model. The announcement was initially reported in China.
