Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has unveiled an updated integrated device center for its HyperOS 4 operating system. The update focuses on enhancing the unified management of devices across personal, home, and automotive ecosystems.
The new device center features a redesigned card-based layout intended to make it easier for users to locate and manage multiple devices quickly. It also allows users to pin frequently used devices for quick access, optimizing the user interface. Furthermore, the system supports switching between different household profiles, offering greater flexibility for users with multiple locations or networks.
This development is part of Xiaomi's ongoing rollout of HyperOS 4. A Beta version of the operating system began its phased rollout to select users on August 14. Xiaomi has since opened recruitment for a second batch of users to test the Beta version, available for specific Xiaomi smartphone and tablet models.
