Chinese technology news outlet IT Home has announced that Xiaomi has upgraded its 'Game Accelerator' feature to a new 'Game Space'. This evolution aims to provide users with improved game management, specialized performance settings, and personalization options.
The updated Game Space consolidates installed games, automatically organizing them for easier access, with frequently played titles prioritized. The feature also introduces game-specific performance tuning. For MOBA titles, it offers high-performance modes with disturbance reduction to prevent interruptions during crucial gameplay moments. In open-world games, it focuses on maximizing graphical fidelity while prioritizing thermal management to ensure smoother frame rates.
Beyond performance, Game Space allows for user customization. Players can personalize their experience with custom wallpapers, startup animations, and desktop widgets. This enables users to set favorite characters or themes as visual elements, enhancing the overall gaming ambiance.
Game Space is integrated into the latest versions of Xiaomi's HyperOS operating system. The company is rolling out the feature gradually to all users, indicating that some may need to wait for the update to become available on their devices.
