Xiaomi, the Chinese technology firm, has rolled out a new firmware update for its Xiaomi Watch 5. The update, identified as OS 3.0.196.0, primarily addresses enhancements to WeChat message reception and general system stability.
The update log indicates that improvements have been made to the stability and reliability of WeChat message notifications. Additionally, the update aims to boost overall system performance and resolve known issues, such as anomalies in card pack displays, to ensure a smoother user experience.
Launched in December of the previous year, the Xiaomi Watch 5 features a 1.54-inch AMOLED display. It operates on a dual-chip, dual-system architecture, incorporating a Snapdragon W5 wearable processor and a BES2800 low-power chip. The watch offers up to six days of battery life in performance mode and up to 18 days in power-saving mode.
