Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm Debuts With HyperOS 4 and Car Integration

Xiaomi has officially launched its latest smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm, which is the first device to feature the company's new HyperOS 4 operating system for wearables. The announcement was made on September 17.
The new smartwatch boasts deeper integration with Xiaomi's electric vehicles, including the capability to send proactive reminders. It also includes connectivity with Xiaomi smart door locks, allowing users to view camera feeds directly on the watch face. The device enhances communication by enabling users to reply to WeChat messages with voice-to-text functionality.
Further enhancing the user experience, the Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm is equipped with an upgraded Xia Ai voice assistant, capable of answering queries and executing commands. The watch also offers health-focused features such as menstrual cycle tracking, exercise guidance, dietary calorie management, and UV intensity alerts. Xiaomi states the battery can last up to 14 days on a single charge.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm sports a classic watch design, weighing approximately 36 grams and measuring 0.99cm thick. It features a ceramic bezel and a diamond-shaped crown. Pre-orders for the watch began on September 15, and it is expected to be officially released alongside the Xiaomi 18 Pro series.
