Xiaomi's new Redmi phone lasts for three days on a single charge
Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, a new smartphone promising up to three days of use on a single charge. The device features one of the largest batteries Xiaomi has equipped in a European model phone.

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, a new smartphone designed for extended battery life. The company claims the device offers up to three days of usage on one charge.
The phone is powered by a 9,210mAh dual-cell battery, marking the largest capacity Xiaomi has installed in a phone sold in Europe. In some other markets, the phone will be available with an even larger 10,000mAh single-cell battery.
This battery technology is based on silicon-carbon, featuring a high 16 percent silicon content for greater energy density. This has allowed Xiaomi to integrate the large battery into a device with dimensions similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, while being 8 grams lighter and marginally thinner.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max also includes a photochromic design that is revealed by sunlight. Further specifications and European availability details are expected.
