Xiaopeng Motors to Integrate Google Maps in Global Vehicle Models
Xiaopeng Motors announced the integration of Google Maps navigation services into its global vehicle lineup, starting with the newly launched MONA L03 model. The company becomes the first Google Maps车载 SDK partner in the Asia-Pacific region.

Xiaopeng Motors, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced the integration of Google Maps navigation services into its global vehicle models. This functionality will debut with the recently launched MONA L03 model.
The company has become the first automotive partner for Google Maps' in-car SDK within the Asia-Pacific region. This collaboration aims to provide drivers with a seamless navigation experience, particularly on vehicles developed for the European market.
Alongside the navigation update, Xiaopeng introduced its upgraded XOS 6 cockpit operating system. This system enhances voice interaction capabilities, supporting multiple languages for cross-identification and improved understanding of natural language commands. The system is designed to recognize user emotions and needs, offering proactive service recommendations.
Xiaopeng also detailed its second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) real-world large model, which is being adapted for European roads. This AI-powered system is programmed to adhere strictly to European traffic rules, including pedestrian priority and accurate recognition of various national traffic signs. It can also learn and apply implicit rules, such as the 'default right-hand of way' principle, in the absence of signage.
The company has further refined its intelligent parking assistance features for European customers. These upgrades support various parking maneuvers, including perpendicular and custom parking, and are capable of navigating complex environments like narrow European city streets and unmarked parking areas using 3D occupancy network technology.
