Xingyu Shares reports nearly 40 percent profit decline in Q3
Automotive lighting supplier Xingyu Shares faces a sharp downturn in performance for the third quarter of 2026, citing rising costs and lower revenue.

Automotive lighting manufacturer Xingyu Shares has reported its third-quarter financial results for 2026, revealing a decline in key performance metrics. Revenue reached 3.61 billion yuan, marking an 8.67% decrease compared to the same period last year. Net profit attributable to shareholders saw a sharper decline, falling 39.62% to 262 million yuan.
The company stated that the contraction in profit was primarily driven by lower overall sales, increased raw material costs that have inflated production expenses, and higher expenditure on research and development initiatives.
These financial results follow a period of public scrutiny for the manufacturer. In August, the company faced criticism over its recruitment practices after terminating contracts with 107 recent university graduates. Following an investigation by local authorities in Changzhou, which found that communication during the layoffs had been improper, the company issued a public apology and implemented a compensation plan for the affected individuals.
