Newark, Delaware – xLocums, a company specializing in locum tenens staffing, has appointed Brianne Thackrey as its Executive Director, effective March 2026. The appointment follows Thackrey's tenure as Vice President of Client Services, a role she assumed in January 2025.
In her new capacity, Thackrey will be responsible for all aspects of xLocums' operations and will provide strategic leadership across the organization. Her role will focus on driving performance, ensuring key metrics are met or exceeded, and maintaining satisfaction for both hospital clients and healthcare providers.
Thackrey brings over eight years of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as Vice President of Emergency & Hospital Medicine Operations for a national physician staffing group. In that position, she managed multiple hospital contracts, overseeing operational execution and staff fulfillment.
Before joining xLocums, Thackrey also worked as an independent healthcare leadership consultant. She initially joined xLocums in January 2025 and has reportedly exceeded performance expectations in various locum tenens specialties.
