xMentium Document Intelligence Joins Microsoft Fabric for IQ Sharing

xMentium, a company specializing in document intelligence, has been announced as a launch partner for IQ Sharing within Microsoft Fabric. This new integration, unveiled at the European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference (FabCon) in Barcelona, aims to enhance how enterprises leverage data extracted from complex documents such as contracts and technical drawings.

Traditionally, valuable enterprise data is often locked in unstructured and difficult-to-read formats like engineering drawings, inspection reports, and manuals. Extracting and utilizing this information has historically required significant manual effort and custom solutions. Microsoft Fabric's IQ Sharing function seeks to remove these barriers.

xMentium's existing customers can now discover extracted data in the OneLake Catalog and share it using zero-copy technology directly into their own OneLake environment. This allows for the data to be used with popular tools like Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Copilot, creating a durable, AI-ready data foundation. With the integrated data, businesses can build a continuously refreshed layer of structured intelligence from their documents and share it governably across different business units and partner ecosystems.
