XPENG aims for 2027 humanoid robot deliveries, Europe launch later that year
XPENG plans to start mass production of its IRON humanoid robot by the end of 2026 and begin deliveries in the first half of 2027. The company also intends to launch European promotion in the second half of the year.

XPENG has outlined a production and delivery timeline for its IRON humanoid robot. Mass production is scheduled to commence by the end of 2026, with the first robot deliveries expected in the first half of 2027.
The company's chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, presented the schedule at an event in Paris on October 12. Initially, the robots will be deployed in commercial settings like stores and shopping malls. XPENG plans to expand their use to industrial and household applications at a later stage.
A dedicated production line has been established for the robot. XPENG has demonstrated an IRON unit completing automated assembly and exiting the production line. The robot features multimodal interaction, facial recognition, and conversation memory, with communication capabilities in Chinese, English, and German.
European promotion for the IRON robot is slated to begin in the second half of 2027. These plans indicate XPENG's strategic move into the robotics sector beyond its established automotive business.
