XPENG G9L Completes Production Trial in Europe
XPENG's new generation G9L SUV has successfully completed its production trial at Magna's facility in Graz, Austria. This marks the fourth XPENG model to undergo production testing in Europe.

XPENG, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has concluded a production trial for its next-generation G9L SUV at Magna Steyr's complete vehicle facility in Graz, Austria. This trial makes the G9L the fourth XPENG model to be produced in Europe, following the G6, G9, and P7+.
Following the successful trial, the first European-produced G9L vehicles are now ready. This step is part of XPENG's broader strategy to expand its presence in the European market, potentially streamlining logistics and delivery for customers on the continent.
Magna Steyr, a well-known automotive contract manufacturer, produces complete vehicles for various car brands. This collaboration allows XPENG to leverage existing production infrastructure and expertise in Europe, facilitating scalability without direct investment in new factories.
The completion of this production trial signifies XPENG's commitment to its European growth plans. It suggests a move towards more localized production, which can be crucial for adapting to regional market demands and regulations.
