Chinese automaker XPeng announced it will globally launch its new MONA L03 electric vehicle in Munich on July 16. This marks XPeng's first model to be released simultaneously in China and Europe.
The launch event will also provide details on XPeng's latest developments in its "physical AI" technology. Pre-sales for the MONA L03 began in China on July 2, with prices starting at approximately 143,800 yuan (around $19,800 USD). The vehicle is positioned as a stylish, intelligent SUV aimed at younger consumers, available in both all-electric and range-extended configurations.
The MONA L03 is equipped with XPeng's proprietary Turing AI chip and features a 26.8-inch display in its cabin. The design was led by former Ferrari designer Juanma, emphasizing aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.228.
Offered in various interior and exterior color options, the all-electric version boasts a WLTP range of 525 to 625 kilometers and supports 3C fast charging. The range-extended variant can achieve a total driving range of up to 1,330 kilometers.
