XPeng Names Robotaxi Brand 'XPeng YOYO'

Chinese technology firm XPeng has officially named its robotaxi brand "XPeng YOYO" and opened public online registration for its autonomous driving service in China on October 8.

The company stated that the XPeng YOYO is China's first fully in-house developed robotaxi to achieve pre-loaded mass production. This transition to mass production is expected to facilitate future service expansion.

XPeng has made significant investments in autonomous driving technology, developing its own systems for its robotaxi fleet. The YOYO vehicle signifies the company's efforts to advance smart mobility solutions within the Chinese market.
