Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng has commenced presales for its MONA L05 five-seat SUV in China as of October 15. The company is offering five variants, with prices ranging from RMB 169,800 to RMB 191,800. The official market launch is slated for October 29, with customers able to choose between fully electric or extended-range electric powertrains.
The fully electric variants boast CLTC-rated ranges of either 535 kilometers or 635 kilometers. The extended-range versions provide a combined battery-and-fuel range of up to 1,310 kilometers. Both powertrain options start at the base price of RMB 169,800.
The L05 model expands XPeng's MONA lineup, positioned as a larger SUV above the existing L03 sedan. It features XPeng's second-generation VLA driver-assistance system. According to the company, cumulative deliveries across the MONA series have surpassed 350,000 vehicles.
