Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng is reportedly planning to expand its MONA series with at least two new vehicle models. According to sources, these include a compact SUV, codenamed D11, measuring approximately 4.4 meters in length, and a station wagon variant, codenamed D11T.

When added to the already launched M03 and the soon-to-be-released L03 and L05, the MONA series would comprise a minimum of five distinct models. The L05 is expected to be the highest priced within the MONA lineup. The D11 SUV is anticipated to be priced around 100,000 yuan (approximately $13,700 USD), positioning it as a significant contender in the budget-friendly EV segment.

Competitors for the D11T station wagon are expected to include models like the BYD Seal 06 DM-i Traveller and the Geely Lynk & Co 07 GT. The D11 SUV is projected to see incremental price increases over the M03 and L03, with minimal gaps between models.

XPeng has experienced growth in deliveries this year, with the MONA M03 contributing significantly to its sales volume. The company aims to strengthen its market presence by introducing competitively priced and diverse offerings within its MONA platform.
